One thing to know when booking this property is that it is an old hotel. There's been some upgrades to the overall hotel, but it has old features in the bathroom and other areas that could use some upgrades. It could have been a little cleaner in terms of the floors and baseboards and areas that don't always get attention. But the beds were clean and comfortable which was important. The hot continental breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.

I have to say French toast I ordered was no better than eating plain bread.

The mattress had some disgusting stains! The room had a weird disgusting smell. Looks like someone kicked in the room door at some point. The water had a gross smell I opted to not shower in it. The girl checking me in actually swore and was complaining about how hungry she was extremely unprofessional. Very dated didn't even have an alarm clock in the room! Television and wifi didn't work! Would never stay there again and wouldn't recommend spending $252 on a dive room! Book elsewhere if you can! Only perk was parking on-site.

Lovely hotel, nicely positioned for both the harbour and shopping/tourist sites. Staff were amazing. Was very sad to leave!
